Procedure. And the record.

Every test on our floor follows the same path: a documented procedure, a witnessed run, a signed certificate. Below is an HV cable acceptance test per IEC 60840: the procedure on the left, the certificate we issue on the right.

  1. 01

    Stage 1 · Visual and dimensional

    Inspect the cable jacket for surface defects. Verify diameter, conductor cross-section, and screen continuity against the manufacturer drawing.

  2. 02

    Stage 2 · Partial discharge

    Energize at 1.7 times rated voltage. Measure partial discharge magnitude at the splice and termination. Pass threshold: 10 picocoulombs.

  3. 03

    Stage 3 · AC withstand

    Apply 2.5 times rated voltage for thirty minutes at 50 hertz. No breakdown, no flashover. Report and sign.
